We have bought DS1 a Kindle and I can't decide whether to set it up linked to my Amazon account or to make him one of his own. I'm interested to see what others have done.
Using my account would mean (i think) that he would have all my books downloaded on to his kindle (not really a problem as medieval detective novels are no interest for him) but would mean he could use my kindle to read his books if we were away and didn't have his.
He would also have access to my one click ordering (this would need policing obvious ).
He could re-read the books we have already brought for in on my kindle account (3 so far) as I don't think we can transfer them to another account.
His own account would mean he only got the books he was interested in and I wouldn't link a credit card to it probably just add a gift voucher from time to time.
I would have access to the email linked to the account so I could keep and eye on what he was reading.
But he couldn't read the books we have already bought for him
I just don't know which is the best way to work it, what do other MNetters think?
