Last one has died after 3 years. It cost £35 and ink cartridges cost me about £15. Is that just how it goes now?

Any other tips or advice from others who've recently beenon same boring, new printer needed adventure gratefully recieved.

I need to scan, print in co; and b/w and ideally have aility to print photos of iffy quality. Can I assume it'll be cheap and easy to find wireless, and do I need to check if it's compatible with Windows 7 etc.

Check how much printer cartridges cost and how much you can print with them or buy a cheap printer and replace it when cartridges run out

Ok important first step - thank you. Shan't think about landfill for now!

Take a look at the "free" deals on IJT Direct, like this Brother Wireless 3 in 1.
