Facebook messed up for anyone else?

Linux user, logged in today via Opera to find a blank home page, logged in via Firefox to find a complete mess with everything pushed into the middle of the screen, I think they have messed up trying to optimise for stupid phones as the screen shape it's tried to squeeze it into on Firefox looks like phone size to me.

I've reported it but wondered if anyone else was affected, my Linux is old, it's the last kernel.

Is fine for me....

However Facebook do have the ability to serve up very different interfaces for different accounts and different browsers, so it could easily be either Facebook or your machine. Are other sites OK?

Yeah everything else is fine, altho most video sites don't work, as I said old Kernel that isn't supported anymore (I'll get round to updating it sometime once DF bothers to check if he's backed up everything off the windows as I have no idea if the boot loader will get fucked or not).

Do you have another machine that you can test access from your account with?

If so and if that's fine then change the user agent of the Linux browser to match that that the working machine would pass over. That should then make reasonably sure that Facebook are serving you up with the same HTML and should help narrow down if it's Facebook or your machine.

Even if you can't get on another machine it still might be a good test to try changing the user agent anyway.

Nope, only difference it makes is if I change it to Firefox my profile pic vanishes as well, other then that no change.

I think it's time to bite the bullet and spend the weekend backing up and looking up and installing something new, I'm thinking Suse tumbleweed.
