Ical To Do Items - do they appear in my iPhone?

I am finally going all digital with my calendars etc. Mac and iPhone syncing nicely. However, although I've started to create "To do" items in Ical on the Mac, I don't know where to find them (if anywhere) when I sync the calendar to my iPhone.

Any ideas anyone please?

There's no app provided that syncs or displays the "To Do" (renamed to "Reminder" in the latest version) list on an iOS device.

There are apparently things you can buy that will do this, but I've never used any and so can't recommend one.

Suffice to say you're not going missing anything, they're genuinely not there...

iOS 5 supports To-do's. Not sure yet if they will sync with iCal.

So far, I've been using Toodledo which is a web application which also has an iphone application. So pop your list online and it appears on your phone (and vice versa)

"iOS 5 supports To-do's. Not sure yet if they will sync with iCal."

Well spotted! They're renamed them "Reminders" on the iPhone to match the change made in OS X Lion.

So when iOS5 does come out it's problem solved. However, I wouldn't upgrade immediately, as with anything new give it at least a few weeks to see if there are problems and then make the jump.
