Iphone / Orange Livebox - Driving Me Mad!

Trying in vain to connect my Iphone 4 to my Orange Livebox.

Somebody please please help me before I throw them both out the window!

Can't get the livebox to go into pairing mode (i think) is the problem.

My Orange livebox has similarly narrowly escaped defenestration while I've been trying to connect stuff (so far 8 laptops, 4 iPhones, one android phone and two iPads belonging to various family members/relatives/DD's boyfriends.)

When the box is in pairing mode the light by the wireless symbol will start to flash rapidly- much quicker than the normal flashing that indicates activity. To get it into pairing mode you need to hold down button 1 for several seconds - long enough to start thinking it's not going to work!

Once it's in pairing mode, it stays like that for about ten minutes to give you time to put the password in - and you often need that long to work out that you have to put the password in with no spaces and (this was the crucial thing for me) each capital letter must be put in by pressing the shift key separately, don't try to use the shift lock.

If you can't get the box into pairing mode at all, I think you may have to ring Orange support (sorry! ) though do try rebooting the box first, sometimes that really is all it takes...
