HELP!! I've lost the tool bar thingy at the bottom ofmy screen

so I can't even click on 'start' to logoff....



I think I leant on something at the bottom right of my keyboard and tis all gone - aaghh!!!

Oh and the cross on the top left hand side has gone too, so I can't minimise

Try pressing F11. Mine did something weird when I did that just now, but when I pressed it again it came back to normal.

Try pressing the Windows Key to see if the Taskbar pops up.

You can also try pressing ALT & F4 together to start closing down Windows.

Finally you can press CTRL, ALT and DEL all together which will give you a shut down option.

My cockatiel is always doing that by jumping onto the keyboard. F11 should sort it.

F11 will put certain Browsers, such as IE, into full screen mode which will hide the usual Window buttons and the start menu.

But then it toggles them back again if you press it again. Alternatively hover at top of screen till taskbar comes back then click on tools, the fullscreen, to switch fullscreen off.

Yes F11 will toggle full screen mode on/off for some applications. I was trying to explain what "something weird" was.
