anyone got honeysuckle or jasmine growing in a north facing postion?

I have just put some willow screen up, it's about 1.8 metres, and i bought these two plants to try and grow up it.

I live in south devon, i mention this cos almost anything grows here, but maybe not these two without the direct sunlight.

oh, the screen covers a solid fence, so no peeky sunlight at the roots.

You might be ok, they will probably try and climb towards the sun so if you are unlucky all the flowers will be over the top and other side of your fence!

That said, I have a Jasmine growing on a North facing wall and it did flower this year, but it does get some morning and afternoon sun...

Honeysuckle might be easier as it is a woodland plant so happy to have roots in shade.

There are good climbers for North facing walls, can suggest some if you are looking for ideas?
