I'm so disorganised this year...
I really wanted for dd (almost 3) to grow some sunflowers this year-is it too late to do now?

Thanks gardeningmum! Have planted quite a lot-the packed did say that june was the last month for sowing so hopefully they'll be ok! Poor dd was so excited when it was time for bed she got very upset cos she wanted to wait and watch them grow

I planted mine about a week ago and some are coming up now. I'm sure a week won't make any difference to yours. Hope you and DD enjoy watching them grow!

well sammy, you got any seedlings yet? mine have started to come through.
my daughter has planted 6 in a trough and named them after us and her brothers, a prize goes to the tallest one

We do indeed! We went a bit crazy and set all the seeds (2 packets!) and they are popping up all over the place! Have got a load in pots so may well give a few away to friends/family or else we'll be overtaken!!
Very pleased we went ahead-dd is very excited! Thanks for the advice!
