where am i going wrong with my sodding blueberries? i bought three small plants. the dog dug one up (ok, i see what happened there). one died for unspecified reasons (possiby dog related). the other one grows happily but doesn't flower or fruit, the leaves turn brown early autumn and fall. they're in ericaceous compost in a pot and get plenty of sun and i feed them. do they take a few years to mature? or have i just got a duff one?

woodstock I thought you needed 2 plants for the pollination to occur, so if your dog got the other plants, then that may be why you got no blueberries.

I planted two bushes after reading a thread on here and I have been eating a couple a day with DCs. I didn't pick any yesterday and I managed to get a large handful today. Its the only thing thats keeping me going at the moment, as all the rest of my plot is just aphid ridden.
