Green Bark Chippings

Does anyone know where I can find green coloured bark chippings.

I know it exists as a company on the US does exactly what I want but I was hoping to get some much closer to home.

I have a huge apple tree and a Fir tree at the bottom of my garden and non have an apple tree that over hangs the fence so consequently grass doesn’t grow in a couple of big patches just by the fence.

My thoughts are to edge the sections off and put a big circle of edging and weed suppressant around my apple tree and then fill it with grass coloured bark chipping so that from afar it looks all like verdant lawn.

If any one knows either where I can get the bark chippings from or has another idea on what to do with a very shady area all ideas welcome
