Any recommendations for where to purchase tillandsia (air plants) online?

Have ordered x4 from the shop cardamon referred to - and, yes, they clearly are (very) passionate about air plants.

I have also bought a tiny pencil sized spray for spraying them (rather than spraying stuff in bathroom that doesn't need spraying). Plus some spray fertiliser.

I will try to avoid my normal tendency of killing with kindness.

When looking up the reason for using rainwater, the website indicated that their difficulty level was ‘moderate to difficult ‘!

I think they are misleadingly marketed!

They are in the bathroom (well, the x2 surviving ones)

I think it was lack of water as I was away for x3 weeks in June / July. I managed to revive x2 but the others looked like dead spiders! (Ugh)

They really aren't a no maintenance plant. As well as their water needs they also need strong sunlight for part of the day and warmth. I suspect they have died because of the cold rather than lack of water.

What would be a substitute for rainwater?!

Was going to ask why rainwater but google tells me this

Avoid using tapwater especially in hard water areas as the water contains dissolved sodium bicarbonate which can precipitate out on the trichomes and block them, preventing the Tillandsia from absorbing moisture and nutrients

I am not sure but do just check they have been sustainability sourced they are wonderful plants. Also I think they do better if rainwater is used.
