Hi all! I planted some summer flowering "bulbs" (although I think they're really tubers or root cuttings) in late Feb in a sunny spot. They were Sea Holly, Coneflower and Masterwort.
I have been obsessively watching the bare earth ever since! However nothing has appeared (now about 8 weeks since they were planted). I am concerned I may have been overambitious and planted them too early. Does anyone know when I could expect shoots to start appearing or should I give them up as a bad job and plant new ones?
I just tried gently digging around where one of them went in and couldn't actually find anything in the earth, although there haven't been any signs of digging.....
