Hydrangea ......inside or out?

Bought for me 2 weeks ago, it is limp and shedding leaves...can i plant it out ? bearing in mind horrific rain..

usually kill anything green and planty fairly quickly...

Leave it outdoors in its pot for a while. That often restores plants. It's a hardy perennial, so will be happier outdoors - eventually.

BTW if its only two weeks old then it's probably pot-bound and in an inadequate compost, so will want potting-on or replanting fairly soon.

Replanted my hydrangea in garden on Saturday. Has now gone all floppy and looks as if it's on its way out. Going outside to give it the last rites.

To be honest, Lulu, I think the torrential rain has battered it into submission. I know how it feels. One more day of kids going stir-crazy indoors and I think I'll lose the will to live...

I mean, I don't mind a bit of rain (and I hated last year's humid heatwave) but this is just getting ridiculous!

I adore everything blue and pink with the exception of hydrangeas
