Help me disguise septic tank!

Hi
Any suggestions on how to disguise my septic tank. It's in middle of lawn which looks out towards sea so we can't plant anything with any height as it would block the view.
Also need to be able to access the tank roughly every 2-3 years so can't completely cover it.
I want to avoid drawing too much attention to it as well

Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks 😊

A septic tank in the middle of your sea views? GrinGrinGrin I think I’d just invest in moving it out of the way tbh.

We have a septic tank too, are you in Australia? I'll think about it today, it's a tricky one isn't it!

You only need to access it every five-ten years for a pump-out, and then only really need access to the small access lid (not the entire thing) so I wonder if it worth getting some sort of low spreading grevillea type plant that could branch out over it?

And lucky you having a sea view too, ours in just tucked out the back amongst banksias. Still an ugly thing though....

Jojo we only just moved here def won't be moving it as would cost thousands to do that and we have only just sorted out the drainage having had a big problem when we got here.
I will google the other suggestions, I'm wondering about putting something like a sundial/bird bath on a plinth (so moveable) and maybe small amount of gravel and some grasses on the edges.

We had a septic tank previously and emptied it every 3 years but maybe depends how many people are living in the house (lots of us!)

By how much does it stick out?

Not very high, only 30 or 40cm but 3 different bits, one quite long so quite a big visual impact

I suppose the sundial option could work well.

Artificial grass over it?
Ours is currently covered in bramble.

Something along these lines?

This is for wheelie bins but presume same principle could be applied to septic tank

Clara that's a great idea looks lovely...even if I don't do this for septic tank, might do it for our bins which are also an eyesore (though less prominent and at the back door)

We're totally doing it for our bins next year! On the hunt for some old pallets we can upcycle.

Have a google there are loads of ways of doing it, does't look too hard either
