I have this multi trunked tree in my garden. Been here ten years and only just paid it any attention! Leaves look very similar to cherry blossom but it blooms very early spring with pink flowers. Friend suggested it could just be a shrub on steroids?
All advice gratefully received.

A leaf close-up might help.

I think it's a kind of viburnum. Maybe viburnum lantana?

The leaves are very similar but we have pink flowers and no berries? It's about 15' tall.

I think you are right, it's some kind of viburnum. Thank you! I'm going to have a Google and see if I can pin it down.

Look for viburnum bodnantense Dawn - it seems to fit the bill.

Well, thank you, but the explanation's more prosaic - I have two in the garden!
