The first one - pink - looks like a peony to me.

first one is a peony, third one is definitely an aquiligia and the second one might be an aquiligia also

Pink flower is a peony, dark leaved plant is a heuchera, third one is an aquilegia (aka granny's bonnet). smile

Peony, huechera(spelling?), aquilegia. When the aquilegia flowers die chop the heads off before they seed. They're beautiful but spread everywhere.

So thanks op! grin

There's a really good app someone told me about called MyGardenAnswers. You take a pic with your phone and it identifies the plant. If you have an iPhone that could be useful for future!

But if aquilegia do seed you will get lots of new ones. The only trouble is, in my experience they revert to the 'wild' purple types, and you lose the pretty colours they can start off with.

And when the heuchera flowers (one of my favourites, and we have a 'black' one, Binoche) are over, you can dead head them to conserve energy. They can also have a tendency to 'climb out of the soil' so stems get longer and longer.

They are easy to divide, if you want more; I have got 6 or 8 out of one plant:
