Are they any good?

Not used the water spikes but have used the bottle thingies for tubs when we have been on short holidays The secret was to completely soak the pot first, attach the devise to a 2 litre bottle and put the pot in the shade. It did work quite well.

Oh good! Can you recall what brand you used?

They came from Harrodhorticultural. £3.95 each if I remember.

I don't know if you read instructions but, just in case. You only fill the bottle two thirds otherwise they don't work. This reminder comes via my DH, a never-read-the-instructions, but uses the ,swear because something does not work method.

Recently he put a bench together and it was so uncomfortable to sit on. He used extra screws because he could not get the back on. Son comes to look, takes out the extra screws. Then puts the screws In the correct place via the diagram supplied.
