just a quickie - woodlice ok ,but what about ants ?

of which I have many . Which surprises me a little as a lot of my soil is heavy clay and I have it in my head that this isn't as ant friendly as dry sandy stuff .

But what do I know ! This gardening lark is like a light in darkness ,the more I learn the more I realise there is to learn !

ants are fine. they don't do damage to plants.
they do, however, 'farm' aphids to harvest plant juice, but a shower of water with a little washing up liquid washes them away. do that just before it rains.
