Ok I posted a few months back about my -garden- mud slope. We have arranged a company to come and put down artificial grass on the turf part in a couple weeks, but we have a fence and a gate on the slope part which was for keeping the dog off and stopping the kids falling off.
In front of the fence there is an area about 3 metres across and 1 metre deep. We are going to be putting a little play fort in this area with turrets and a slide. I'll attach a pic of the idea also. The fence itself is going to come down but we will shorten the posts so the turrets are the same on the front and back.
The question, do we need to do some sort of retaining wall? Put sleepers in? Would just some sort of wood going across the bottom be enough? Like the kind that stops stones going under a fence?
