It's been like flippin Watership Down out there today - can I shoot the b**&ers?

Any tips for rabbit control? Not had a problem before, but they seem to have expanded into the field behind the house, and are invading. Cats not interested, they're big b**&ers (the rabbits, not the cats)

So, any tips/experience? I fear for my plants as the spring approaches.

Alternatively, can I shoot them?! What with? And this may be a stupid question, but as I don't know their medical history, are they safe to take to the game dealer to be "dealt with" so that we can have them for tea?

Get a dog, ours killed 3 rabbits last week.

You may have to fence off your veggies (we do) fence has to go at least a foot underground and bend back at 90 degree angle underground to stop them digging underneath it.

Game dealer should be able to tell you if they are safe to eat, you can tell from looking if they have myxamatosis.

You may find a friendly neighbour with a shotgun who will come and shoot them for you.

Good luck
