Hi, can anyone tell me what this is? It comes up every year at my dads house but it was there before he moved into the house. Thanks.

Third vote for crocosmia. If you divide it in the spring and replant the desperate parts, you can make lots more for free.

I've just planted a bi-colour one...when I took it out of the pot it fell into lots of got several plants for the price of one.

Wher we go on holiday ha a strip of about 30-40ft of it...its lovely

Yep, it's lovely isn't it? We call in Montbretia which I think is it's old name.
