Two this time, might be wildflower as planted a seed mix and leaving it long. Any ideas please?

They look like the wildflower called Speedwell.

Possibly but neither look like the illustrations in my book! (2 different plants btw)

I think the first one is green alkonet. The second some sort of campanula perhaps?

I think JT05 is correct actually. Speedwell for the 2nd one. It's difficult to see on my phone.

In my Wilflower book there are several types of both suggestions, but a third suggestion, the first might be a type of forget me not.

Thanks , I think I'll keep track of what pops up in that area over the next few months.

There are probably twenty or more varieties of speedwell (also called veronica, I think) most being 'wild' but there are also cultivated varieties.
