help with plant identification please!

We have loads of these in our garden and I have no idea what they are. Can anyone help?

Looks like acquilegia, (granny's bonnet). Lovely spring plant, but can be a bit of thug, as will self seed like mad.

I agree, aquilega - although it's easy enough to pull up if it seeds where you don't want it.

Thanks for all the responses! It's really nice gradually becoming more familiar with what I have in my garden. I'm learning so much by reading threads on this board.

What's the taller plant with longer leaves at the back?
What's the plant with the many roundish leaves in front of it?
Am I right in thinking the little plant at the bottom left is a sycamore seedling? (We've got loads. I keep pulling them out.)

With pic C, even though the lower leaves are variegated (is that the right word), I think all the leaves are from the same plant.

I think picture A is a Wood Aven (weed that has stick burr like seeds) with a milk thistle behind it.
The second picture is, I think, a toadflax, and the last one is definitely spotted laurel. Aucuba japonica.

Think A is all weeds.
Not sure about B.
C is an evergreen shrub called Aucuba.
D is Arum lily (lords and ladies).

C is Cuckoo pin Arum maculatum (poisonous berries)
D is definitely not potatoes.
E is honesty. Lunaria annua

E is not potatoes and I think F is Honesty

C is Aucuba Japonica variegata. It can become pretty huge, so you will need to keep it in check depending on the size of your garden.

D is Arum Maculatum ("Lords and Ladies").

Both have poisonous berries (and the leaves of the Aucuba are poisonous as well.) I wouldn't worry too much about the Aucuba, but I'd get rid of the Arum before it starts self-seeding everywhere.

Does anyone know what type of fuchsia this is? I was given it as a present. It came in a 25cm (?) pot from Sainsbury's but there was no info about what type of fuchsia it is. It looks a bit like Mrs Popple or Tom Thumb but I'm not convinced.

It looks very much like "Tom Thumb" to me, and that's a well-known variety that would be most likely to turn up in a supermarket.

Wow - you're all so helpful and so quick! I'll look all of these up. I'll have to post more pics another time. I'm supposed to be working but it's very easy to get distracted by this forum!
