I have an arch in my garden with a clematis growing on it.
The arch is one of those metal jobs and is rusting away. I don't think it is going to last much longer.
There is a clematis growing up one side but not the other the one on the other side was killed by an over ambitious person with a strimmer. I didn't plant it so no idea how old it is.
I'm thinking about replacing the arch with one with planters to give more stability.
What is the best way to move the existing clematis? Is that even possible? Will a clematis grow in a planter?
