Plant seats?

Which plants would make nice seats. I've got thyme growing for one. Chamomile would be an obvious choice for another. Any other good plants for sitting on?

Marjoram's quite robust, as is rosemary - I assume you'll be wearing stain-repellent trousers though? Wink

They're for a children's nursery. We've got some tyres to fill with dirt, then plants for a cushion.

Lemon balm evil stuff. Grows like crazy and can be hacked back when it starts to get too big 3 weeks after planting and always bounces straight back.

It will smell nice if you do sit on it and is very robust. It would look squished when you got up but would soon bounce back.

In all honesty, I've never tried. I spend my time ripping the stuff out of my garden!

What about normal grass seed? It could just be chopped down with scissors as it got too long.
