did you see the great garden revival the night before last - rachel de thame did a whole section on roses and there were lots of fab ones. am sure you can see it on iplayer. I love Lady Emma Hamilton too - have just planted some. Plus Munstead Wood - gorgeous deep red. Order a catalogue from David Austin - it's very addictive
Arthur Bell -yellow, climber, absolutely beautiful scent Queen of Sweden - pink, very pretty cupped flower, long lasting Rhapsody in blue - purple/blue, beautiful scent Bridge of sighs - peach, quite simple flowers but smells gorgeous Albertine - old rose, wonderful scent but the flowers don't last long. These are my favourites but for different reasons!
Not as fragrant but beautiful - Dublin bay (red, velvet flowers) and Malvern hills (petite yellow flowers - lovely to grow up through a tree). Winchester cathedral (creamy white) is also gorgeous.
