As it says in the title. I went to a DIY shop on Thursday and found a whole rack of plants outside for a pound. Since our garden is like a nuclear testing site I thought I should buy some. I am unsure whether to put the clematis into a pot and then into position or put it in the greenhouse till spring has sprung. The label on the plant is spectacularly unhelpful and only shows the flowering time. We are in Norfolk if that makes a difference.
Thanks for that. Unfortunately, we don't have any 'ground' in our garden. I think it was a ground force copy. It's all stone, shingle and slate. It doesn't have any shoots (which was what caused DH to call it dead) and is twiggy. I have high hopes for it. There's already a bit of trellis that it can grow up.
