Moss killed, but will grass grow again in that area?

My friend put down something called 'weed and feed and moss killer'. Nice grass grows in 2/3rds of the lawn - the mossed area is now ugly brown and dead-looking. She has scraped off the dead moss, but what now? Can she now just re-seed with grass and it will grow, or does she have to remove the soil as well?
tia.

btw there appears to be no reason why moss grew in the first place - it's in sun and seems to drain well.

prick it over well with a fork and re-seed.

Our lawn is like this and looks horrific if we weed and feed but after a bit of seed it looks fine for a year or so until we have to repeat the process!!

oh thanks! I'll tell her that. It's only a small lawn but it would be hundreds to replace it.
