Seeking suggestions for a centrepiece for a planter outside our office. Planter is about 2'x2'x2', and rather exposed. Year-round interest ideal. Not too expensive either please, in case it goes walkabout ...

Twisted hazel makes an amazing all year round centre piece, and you can either pot it on or plant it out when it gets too big, just cut off any straight shoots it puts out from the root, you can twist it in on itself and shape it how you want ,I like making balls. about £3 for a small potted one.

I have same-sized container at corner of drive, and have used one of the many seedlings from Corsican Hellebore for height.
