Seriously, I am clueless Blush

Earlier in the summer a neighbour very kindly planted some pots for me to add some colour to my garden. Now they're looking rather tired and dead but I'm not sure what to do Blush (told you I was clueless!)

Do I just dig the dead'uns out and leave the soil in the pots?

I've also got some bean plants that have had their day. Do I do the same to those?

Thank you Smile

With the pots you can pull up all the old plants and plant some bulbs to come up in the spring.

What HoneyPablo said about the bulbs. Then stick something like a variegated ivy in plus a cyclamen. You'll get some colour for now then bulbs to look forward to.

Forgot winter pansies, you could chuck some of them in too.

You might want to stick some fresh compost in there too.
