we are still tackling the nettle and bramles in the garden. I am pregnant so not able to do much bevy digging. Dh is a very unenthusiastic gardener. So is there anything he can put on them that will kill them dead?
There's loads of the buggers!

Do you want to have weedkiller on your garden when you are pregnant/ got a little one?

Hire a flamethrower.

Get a strimmer and chop them all down and then cover the whole garden in thick black plastic for a year or so and then when you lift it It'll be bare earth :)

Repeated use of a weed burner should do it if you persevere. Otherwise, could you pay a gardener to come in and heave them all out?

Roundup.I hate using chemicals but if I do have to,Roundup is the best thing. It deactivates as it hits the soil,so should be ok for children/pets and for replanting afterwards.Get your dh to apply it though,no point taking any risks at all in pregnancy.
