Hello
I am considering undertaking an MBA for two reasons 1) I feel stuck in a mid level role and 2) we will looking to move back to my home country in about 4 years and I'd like as much oomph as possible on my CV. I've been in London 8 years, which is something highly respected by my home country.
I've had fifteen years experience in my field and did a "double degree" bachelors, in which I graduated with the equivalent of first class honours (in my home country).
I have a young child and planning a second and I don't underestimate the time required to study. In my uni days I would work 8-5 then do night school from 6-9, then come home and study / do assignments until midnight or later. Survived on four hours sleep a night for four years!
Would I essentially be signing up for the same workload on a part time MBA? Worse? 😬 is online worthwhile? Given we all wfh these days I think education would be the same.
I'd really like to know if getting an MBA has boosted your CV and if it was worth it.
