Are there any distance learning colleges that don't look like crooks?

I was hoping to do some Btec administration type courses by distance learning, but when I've started to look online everywhere just looks suspiciously dodgy.

I've done Open University in the past, but wanted to do a more vocational course rather than academic. I've also done ECDL recently in a classroom setting and found it frustratingly slow paced, so distance learning is definitely my preference.

Are there any distance learning colleges recommendations (or any to avoid)

Thanks x

OP
If you are planning on doing a BTEC then I would contact Edexcel, who adminster BTEC, to see if they have a list of recommended distance learning providers for the course you are interested in.

The OU have a vocational assessment centre now might be worth looking there?
