Look online to find your closest further education college and check out their website to see if they offer Maths GCSE to adult learners.

FE college? Should be free(fully government funded) for those yet to pass. Some online providers may charge and you may benefit from face to face teaching particularly if you have struggled previously.

It might be called functional skills not maths and you need a level 2 to get equivalent of gcse

Definitely contact your local FE college. I would also suggest doing level 2 Functional Skills Maths - as it focuses on the bits of maths that you use in real life (rather than trigonometry for example).

Hello
I just studied gcse maths at the local college (started late in January) - exams in may/June. It’s free to do the course as long as you did not get a grade c or above before, and you attend the college for a couple of hours per week.
It’s worth doing the gcse as a lot of colleges won’t accept the functional skills qualification now, if you wanted to progress onto other courses. Good luck!

Hi
I must admit, I did find it fairly tricky, being aged 42 I found it hard to retain a lot of the information!
I’m hoping I’ll have just scraped through on the exams though - I find out on the 23rd August, so fingers crossed.
There were 3 exam papers in total.
