Hi
We are moving to Manchester for work with dd yr 11 and ds yr10. Would like advice on best 6th forms / colleges for A levels please. Likely to be some of History, English, Maths, Physics, Biology, Politics, Psychology between them ....
Thanks

The big 6th form colleges are Loreto and Xavarian - they are both close to the city enter and my dd1 attends one of them and is thriving. Loreto especially is very academic and very big- 3000 students but it's very supportive and a great stepping stone for Uni. It depends on where you're going to be living and what your child requires from a college

If you are in south Manchester near Timperley, Altrincham, Hale area, then I recommend Sir John Deane's College in Northwich.

There is a private bus from South Manchester.
It is part of the Maple Group and is one of the best Sixth form colleges in the country.
