Ds took iGCSEs this year, but the cohort at his school was very small and therefore moved to a larger school which does DP instead of A levels. He is taking Higher - maths, chemistry, biology and standard German B, English A and Geography.
Anyone else have a dc taking the DP?
Ds is fine so far, but not too keen on Theory of Knowledge and all the reflecting they need to do.

I did this at college (a long time ago now!!) seriously hated TOK but it's a doss subject really and only gets important around Extended Essay time. I loved that we were a bunch (if that makes sense) more than A level students tended to be as we were together all the time (we had less than 30 in our cohort) and we still pretty much all remain friends (13 years after finishing) despite literally being scattered over the globe! Good luck to your DS!! Xx

Thank you both :)
DS thinks TOK is a complete waste of time and was overjoyed this week when they had a lock down drill in the middle of the TOK lesson.
Which subjects is your dd taking Mrs Schadenfreude?

She's doing French, Theatre Studies and History at higher level, English, Environmental Systems and Maths at standard. She sat her standard level French this summer and got a 7. She is also not a fan of TOK.

Are you in the UK Mrs Schadenfreude?
Has your dd started looking at university courses yet? Time seems to be whizzing past.
