Suggestions on where to advertise a job

The company I work for wants to hire a part time PA/administrator with a mixture of working from home and maybe coming into the Central London office for a 4 hour chunk once/week. Seems like the sort of thing returning Mums (or Dads) might find convenient.

Where's a good place to advertise such a position?

I know that mumsnet run a recruitment business, but where else? How about things like Gum Tree?

I must say that I found Gumtree to be full of crap when I was looking for a job so stopped looking there though obviously others may feel differently.

I looked at: Jobcentre website (because I had to, the design of it is terrible), Facebook and Twitter (because I had to), a local jobs board (this was my favourite), direct to company websites and the main job advertising websites.

Depends what sort of company is it? Indeed is good. I don't look on gumtree, friends who work in the restaurant industry do for some reason a lot of those jobs advertised there even manager level et, but other than that i have never heard anyone look on gumtree for jobs

Meant to say, if it is an agency try advertising on Mediargh - a lot of grads look on there for entry level jobs in creative industries

Well, it's a tech company + a bit of personal stuff for the MD (his father recently died and he needs help with doing legwork on the estate to give to the solicitors). Never heard of Indeed - will follow that up.

We also had a kind offer from the people in the next office (a posh recruitment agency) who said they could post an ad on Jobsite for us for a big discount...

Hi, not sure if you are still looking for this but I use MyPartTime to find part time jobs.
It lets you search for jobs by the days and hours you want to work so has been great for me looking for relevant PT roles. Might be useful for you to advertise there.
