Please come and tell me it will all bo ok, am feeling quite nervous about it.

We are so set on the idea of fostering, and have thought about since before our ds 5 was born. Now, thanks to a conversation with my flippin mother last night i have had a sleepless night and keep having doubts pop in to my head. I need hugging!

Thanks custardo. I am sure it will ne fine, we have a bedroom upstairs but have said we would ove to offer a home to a child with SN, and because of that we also have a room downsatirs that can easily be used for a bedroom.

Hi,
Yes it all went really well, she was here for 3.5 hours, a little longer than expected, but in a positive way. The team called first thing tues mornig to ask if we would consider adoption, and to tell us how excited they are about our application. They have emailed today to say nothing has been offically confirmed but to expect to start the training course next weekend and how the manager was really excited about our application, and wished she had more form people like us!

It all seems really positive and i really don't know why i was so nervous!

Thanks for your support.

Good news Well done!

I would be cautious about adoption if you really want to be foster carers, they are very different things.

we have said that we would only consider adotion if we had a foster child who had been living with us long term and they needed adopting. IYKWIM
