What happened to the girl who had to leave her foster family and was waiting for A-level results?

She apparently had to leave her foster family when the mother became ill, and was living in a hostel and had recently heard from her birth family. I can't find any of the threads now and don't know if it was real. I was hoping that she had got the A-level results she wanted.
