Hi everyone,
I am sure everyone is aware of the review of fostering being carried out by the government (www.gov.uk/government/consultations/national-fostering-stocktake-call-for-evidence) they are looking for input from foster carers and children who have been in foster carer and I was wondering what topics people are planning to talk about. I am working on providing info now and have pencilled info about renumeration, professional status (including comparison to minimum wage for contact supervisors), timelines and PR for long term placements, lack of transferability between councils and/or the fact that children cannot easily be passed between councils to fill placements and issues of employability for teenagers in care. I don't want to miss something obvious just because it doesn't come to mind right now, can anyone provide insight into their planned or submitted submissions? thanks
