Last week I moved my foster toddler to adoptive parents. Yesterday a placement order was made for my foster baby and they are hopeful he will move in the next month (parents were identified for him at birth).

I've never moved two children so closely together before and feel like I haven't had time to catch my breath! I'm also wondering if this is a sign of the governments plans to speed up adoption, or just coincidence. (To be honest both children are adorable and therefore must have been easy to find new families for)

Sounds like your head and heart are spinning with this all happening so quickly and so close to Christmas.
Are both sets of new adoptive parents lovely people who will cherish your lo's and keep in touch. I hope so.
Good luck to your adorable two little ones. Fast track adoption or not sounds like you loved them to bits!

Is your foster baby the headbutting one that you need the hard hat for? Can't send a hard hat but can send you hugs and flowers and hope the adoption goes well for you all.

Aw, thank you everyone. To be honest, I'm quite relieved that baby is being adopted at all as plans have changed so often recently! (Yes he is the head butting baby!)

The house is really quiet with just the two of us now and I'm (selfishly?) hoping he won't move until after Christmas because I'd hate to have a totally empty house at Christmas. Also, I hate children moving in December because even if their new family is lovely they're still strangers at first. And I think it must leave future Christmases slightly tainted too. Not to mention December is busy enough without having to fit another set of exhausting introductions in!
