Our fc is 1 year and has a day a week with relatives. She always sleeps a lot more the next day, practically the whole day. Any ideas why this should be? In beween sleeps she is not acting like she is drugged but just tired. I haven't mentioned it to anyone yet. Just recorded it.

Is she getting her normal sleeps on the day when she's with them - or being pulled out of her routine....?

my LO takes a couple of days to recover when her routine is messed around..

Do you know what they do with her on this one day a week and how that fits in with her routine?

The routine is written down for them. They are not the friendliest of people and I have had cause to complain about them already (probably hence the unfriendliness).

I think I should probably mention it anyway, do you? As in I have no idea why but she is shattered the day following contact.

Presumably the contact is unsupervised... (else you could ask the contact worker what they do)...

If it was me, I'd mention your concerns to LO's SW... and record the day following contact in as much detail as possible in your diary

They are probably not sticking to the routine and maybe even if they are trying, maybe she won't settle for a nap for them..?
