Seeing as though we're having a rather lean spell financially I found a (still in date) pack of Raspberry Leaf tea bags which I've been drinking instead of my usual coffee (thus saving on milk).

They're nearly all gone and I haven't got a clue which other ones to try.

Any recommendations - and what benefits do each of them have???

(no prizes for guessing what the Raspberry Leaf was left over from )

Clipper Teas - recently tried Fennel - digestion. If you like ginger they do a brill ginger and lemon one - great on cold winter nights. Camomile great for chilling out evenings. Tetleys Green Tea with lemon is also brill just bought that one in the supermarket - guess it would be nice chilled for those hot summer nights

I think Camomile, peppermint and the other lighter coloured ones are acquired tastes and can be a bit like dinking dishwater (not that I'd know), but the ones with raspberry, other red fruits, mango and some of the citrusy ones can be easier to drink. Echinacea and raspberry is nice - I THINK (could well be wrong) that echinacea helps fight colds. Camomile is calming, peppermint good for digestion, citrus ones refreshing.

I like lemon and ginger but the best and cheapest answer is to pour boiling water on mint leaves for mint tea. It's great after a meal!

Celestial Seasonings teas are all lovely. They do one called Sleepytime which is based on chamomile, but also has rosebuds and other yummy things. One called Tension Tamer is always a winner with my friends as well.

I have a cup of peppermint tea every morning at breakfast as I find it helps my digestion for the rest of the day. I also have it if my tummy is feeling a bit bloated or upset and it really helps and it's lovely.
