frozen veg soup?

my mum used to use those mixed veg stew packs. Not sure of the recipe thought. I've used frozen minted pea to make minted pea soup. Basically cook add stock/herbs maybe a bit fo flour and liquidise.

I think you could, use stock, tin toms bung veg in .

I make it quite often and even though it sounds quite bleugh is actually very nice.

I use carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and spinach boiled up with a pint and a half of veg stock for about 40 mins, then blitzed with with the blender.

I always use frozen veg these days as fresh wouldn't last me the week.

we have grown up with this recipe, my mum used to make us eat it when we were kids and we used to cry and say she was mean-now we cant get enough of it- it freezes really well

lentils-i use about half a small bag of red
1 leek
1 celey
1 onion
small bag of carrots
veg stock

wash lentils and cook them until they have changed colour and are plump
add rest of chopped veg
bring to boil and let simmer for approx 1/2 hour or when cooked to your likeing
when cooked sprinkle on veg stock cube to taste
blend for a smooth soup or leave for a chunky soup
it freezes really well
