people at your baby group are barking mad

the average 2 year old will eat approximately 11 tablespoons of food a day and only one meal in every 48 hour period .. and that's averaged across a week

please tell them to f' off .. they are blatantly insane that is an awful lot of food for a 6 month old who will still be getting most of nutrition from her milk

angie - dont get upset by these stupid people. giraffski and twig are right - ignore them (i know its hard) but just look at your baby and know you know best

if you dont like the baby group then stay away - you need others round you who are supportive - are there other baby groups nearby?

yeah i think so, why cant some people be supportive instead of competitive like mums net

angie, they are probably lacking confidence and need to boss other people about to make themselves feel better. i bet if you were a fly on the wall in their house it would not be all roses.

i went to a toddlers group just like the one you describe and i ended up leaving.

try and find another group, maybe your hv would know of some

angie is there anyone there that you do get on with, and who is like-minded?

if so, and you want to meet up for some company during the day, why not ask them round for a morning or afternoon?
