do you use any cheap cuts of meat for cooking????

ha! we have nothing else in our house.

belly pork is good grilled in slices, or it makes a brilliant soup.

neck of lamb - soup or casserole. Serve with baked potatoes or rice or couscous.

bones and fat make the best soups!

i use lamb neck in a stew cooked slowly its delicius
first i put the lamb neck chops in cold water(with halved onion carots etc salt pep )oven bake(gas 2/3) in casserole until lamb comes off bone
i then use this meat to make a casserole with (add veg and spuds and put back in oven
i also skim the fat from the stock and make gravy which i put in the casserole too

the only way ive cooked beely chops is with a barbeque sauce and then oven roast

another nice cheap cut of meat is beef skirt-makes nice gravy (slow cook again)

Yep - often. Tonight we're having a pot roast bone-in half shoulder of lamb - cooked over a long time, you can't beat it. Neck of lamb makes the best curries. Also use stewing steak for stews and casseroles.
Have never used belly pork though as have wondered what to do with it.

shin beef for stewing- has to be good quality though !
ham shank (leg) boil with veg
cant think of any more
