If you just want to convert a normal sponge to a chocolate one, then when you have weighed out the flour, take out 2 spoons full and replsce with 2 spoons of cocoa powder. Then carry on as normal smile

that sounds easy - teaspoons do you mean?

I usually just add 1 tablespoon of cocoa to the flour as I sieve it. Occasionally needs a small splash of milk to the mixture at the end if it's a bit dry.

Sorry - tablespoons smile
