hi all, wonder if anyone can shed any light on this problem, i have started making cupcakes and when i cook them one day to decorate the following day some have come away from the cases, does anyone know why or how i can stop this?
Brilliant, thanks for these, I shall give them a go, the recipe I was using was 110g butter 110g sr flour 110g suger 1tsp baking powder 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla essence. The recipe also said to just chuck everything in which I thought was odd as I had always creamed in butter and sugar in the past..... I think today is a baking day
Those ingredients looks fine, I think the problem was probably not creaming the butter and sugar really well first. My recipe, to add to the collection, involves weighing the eggs first and then using equal weights of butter, sugar and flour.
