What do you eat for Christmas dinner, if it isn't turkey or goose or something veggie?

My family had a tradition of never eating the usual options for Christmas dinner. This year I am following suit and think I am going to do beef rib. Does anyone else avoid turkey and goose? What do you have?

My mum does turkey and also pork as well for my Dad who doesnt like turkey. She does a massive piece and so most of usually have both turkey and pork. [greedy so and sos]

we didn"t bother with the turkey last year, but had lovely roast beef and always have a roasted ham as well

I had guinea fowl one year, there were only 3 of us for dinner and they are small and much tastier than chicken or turkey grin

duck. every since our 1st christmas as a couple in a tiny flat with a tiny cooker.
oh, and we LIKE duck.
Also do a ham for tea time and boxing day do duck, ham & lentil soup.

Fresh crab

Well, it was wild boar last year. I'm thinking of venison this year. Have never had it before.

I hate turkey. We even get given a giant fresh 'posh' one every year, and every year I joint it and freeze it.
We had pheasant pre DD's but I can't face plucking and gutting it with them 'helping' so we have had my special Cointreau Beef for last few years.
Might go for Venison this year, am undecided at the moment!

We had a Capon last 2 years, gorgeous, less dry, more tasty imo. We always have a homecooked spiced ham as well.
The year before we had a Bird in a Bird in a Bird (or 3 bird roast!), which was lovely but we were eating the left overs for months.
