something to do with Damsons that's not jam / jelly?

Its very simple. DP makes it some years.

Gin + damsons + sugar. Leave for ages, shaking bottle occasionally. Drink.

(just ggogle for quantities

cargirl - i usually go for the crumble option but these are really small and taking the stones out would be well....lets just say I have better things to do!

we made damson wine 2 years ago and it is WONDERFUL! but you d need all the wine making stuff to make it in.....

Could use vodka too - I have made some damson vodka and sloe gin this year.

Put them in the freezer and worry about them again in a couple of years when you find them at the bottom...
